Deleting unnecessary drawings (as well as unnecessary deliverables) is a good thing because it makes the project lighter: less disk space used, and faster application speed.

If Phase Manager returns an error message when deleting a drawing, check that:

the drawing is not used in at least one deliverable,
the drawing is not the default drawing (signaled by a checked box like in the figure below).

Default drawing:
