Task styles not taken into account
“My task styles are not taken into account into the Gantt or my deliverables.”
1/ Check the settings
- Make sure that the custom field (type: choice list) that contains your styles is being used.
- Do not hesitate to reload it:

2/ Imported styles : check letter case
Phase Manager is case sensitive for field values.
If you have imported an “task style” field with a value “Earthwork”, but in the custom field used for styles the value is “earthwork”, Phase Manager will not take it into account.
3/ Are several tasks working at the same time?
If several tasks are working at the same time in the same place, Phase Manager will use as a style a patchwork of colors of all the tasks working there, with a 45° hatched pattern.
4/ Do some areas have custom settings?
Right-click to check that the area that does not apply the style does not have a custom setting. For example below we can see that this area applies the status color :
